🌍 International Shipping & Tax FAQ

For customers ordering from outside Japan

📦 Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped from Japan. We pack and dispatch your items with care, using trusted carriers like Japan Post, Yamato (UPS), and EMS.

💰 Are taxes included in the price?

No. All prices are tax-exclusive, which means VAT, GST, or import duties are not included at checkout.

🛃 Will I have to pay import tax or VAT?

Depending on your country's import laws, you may be charged VAT or customs fees when your order arrives.

Here's what that might look like:

Region Import Tax Info
EU (Germany, France, etc.) VAT (typically 19–25%) is collected at delivery if the order value is over €150.
UK VAT (20%) applies on most imports. You may also pay a handling fee.
USA No VAT for most orders under $800.
Australia / NZ GST may apply, especially for orders over AUD/NZD 1,000.
Canada GST/HST may apply depending on province and order value.
Other Countries Check with your local customs office for details.

⚠️ Who is responsible for these fees?

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees charged upon delivery. We do not control these charges and cannot predict them.

📦 How do I avoid surprises?

We recommend:

  • Checking your country’s import policies.

  • Being prepared for a VAT/customs fee, especially in the EU or UK.

  • Tracking your order and contacting your postal service if it’s delayed at customs.
